Hello, World!!!
This is my first blog, I hope to fill it with my musings and memories and be able to chronicle my life as I see it. I might not be nobility or even wealthy, but my world is filled with a simple beauty that I hope to share with the world.
Yesterday, for example, was wonderful. I dressed up and headed to my local cemetary, a rather nice little spot that has been providing eternal rest for people since the 1900′s, amazing seeing as how I live on the West Coast, and there I met a friend of mine who I haven’t seen since we graduated from high school just a few weeks ago. We walked and talked, bought Baskin Robins ice cream, shared stories and laughs. Later we snuggled up on my bed and watched Vanity Fair together. It was wonderful being able to see her again and I can’t wait to hang out with her again!
Today I actually went to the doctor in the morning since I’ve been feeling a little under the weather. I had some blood drawn (always an uncomfortable experience…) and told to come back in three weeks. The doctor himself was with me for only five minutes. You know, it might just be me, but I think it’s a shame how rushed the medical practice has become. It always leaves you wondering if the doctor was even really listening…
Anyways, I got some take out food before returning home to watch the Michael Jackson Memorial. Now, I was never a huge fan of Michael Jackson but I do admit he was a great entertainer who will definitely be missed and I feel terrible for the loss his three children must feel. I couldn’t help but tear up when his daughter spoke about him.
Now, I’m just going to take a shower and later I’ll be helping my sister plant cornflowers in the garden. Thank you for reading, I hope to update again soon
